John Bell

Attorney John Bell is a native Oregonian, raised in a small town near the Columbia River. He loves the lifestyle and landscape that Oregon offers and is committed to the well-being of its communities.

About John’s Schooling

John received his B.S. degree in Marriage, Family, Human Development from Brigham Young University, giving him a powerful understanding of how to be helpful when working with individuals. He received his J.D. from the University of Akron in Ohio.  While there, he volunteered at the Akron Legal Aid assisting clients in family disputes and estate planning.  He was also a member of the Intellectual Property Law Review.  During the summer months, he was a law clerk at Martin, Nelson, Cook and Taylor, a Salt Lake City, Utah firm,  assisting clients with family law disputes and personal injury claims.

John’s Time After Graduating

John clerked for a solo practioner in Lake Oswego, Oregon after graduation.  He assisted clients with land disputes, family law disputes, criminal defense, and personal injury claims.  From there, John became a member of Shlesinger and deVilleneuve Attorneys, PC as one of its bankruptcy attorneys.  Shortly after he was hired, he was asked to manage the firm’s entire bankruptcy department.  He then moved to the firm’s Eugene office where he was asked to join the firm’s team of  Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability attorneys.

John has gained valuable experience about effectively and professionally serving his clients.  As the owner of Bell Law Offices, PC, he is dedicated to helping his clients navigate their unique legal challenges and needs.  John has the necessary knowledge and skill to represent and advise his clients from a variety of situations and is a member of the Oregon State Bar and the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court of the District of Oregon and his practice areas include Workers Compensation, Social Security, and Personal Injury.


Kellen Pecht

Kellen’s Schooling

Attorney Kellen Pecht grew up in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. After spending a few years in the south Georgia heat, Kellen returned to Salt Lake where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from the University of Utah. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon.

While at the University of Oregon Kellen was part of the inaugural Summer Sports Law Institute at the UO. He also spent time at the Oregon Tax Court researching statutes, case law, and legislative history. Kellen also helped in the drafting of decisions regarding property tax exemptions and business tax apportionment.

Kellen chose to work in law because he wants to help his clients find the best possible outcome. He listens and tries to be keenly aware of what factors are driving them towards legal help.

About Kellen’s Practice Areas

Kellen is a member of the Oregon State Bar and the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. His practice areas include Workers Compensation and Social Security.

In his free time Kellen can be found spending time with his beautiful wife and their two daughters. When not spending time with his family he is cheering on one of his favorite sports teams.
